Terms of Use
Last updated: 17 August 2026
These terms govern the use of Shario (shario.live), a free screen-sharing service. By creating a room, broadcasting or watching, you agree to what is written here. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What the service does
Shario lets you share your computer screen with other people through a link. Whoever receives the link watches in their browser. Several people can broadcast in the same room at the same time.
The service is free, with no paid tier, no ads and no features locked behind payment. Donations are voluntary and buy no rights, priority or additional guarantee.
2. Who may use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and 18, you need permission from whoever is responsible for you.
Creating rooms requires signing in with a Discord account, and you must also comply with Discord's terms. Watching requires no account at all.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- broadcast copyrighted content without permission — including films, series, sports broadcasts, concerts and software
- broadcast sexual content involving minors, in any form or under any pretext
- harass, threaten, defame or expose anyone's personal data
- broadcast content inciting violence, hatred or illegal acts
- distribute malware or attempt unauthorised access to accounts, rooms or our infrastructure
- deliberately overload the service or work around technical limits
- record or redistribute someone else's broadcast without their consent
4. Responsibility for content
The content you broadcast is yours and is entirely your responsibility. We do not monitor, moderate or review broadcasts — they pass through our server in real time and are neither recorded nor stored.
We have no way of knowing what is being broadcast until someone tells us. Respecting third-party rights is therefore the responsibility of whoever broadcasts.
5. Reports and takedowns
If you find use that breaches these terms or your rights, write to contact@shario.live with the room link, the approximate date and time, and the nature of the problem.
We review reports as soon as we can and may close rooms and block accounts without prior notice where there is a breach. Copyright holders may use the same channel to request removal.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these terms, if there is a legal or security risk, or if your use compromises the stability of the service for others.
You may stop using the service whenever you like. Since we store no content, there is no broadcast data to delete.
7. Availability and absence of warranties
The service is provided as is, with no warranty of uninterrupted operation, broadcast quality or fitness for any particular purpose.
This is a personal, free project. It may become unavailable, change significantly or be discontinued, with or without notice. Do not rely on it where a failure would cause meaningful harm.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss or losses arising from the use or inability to use the service, nor for content broadcast by other people.
Nothing here removes liabilities that the law does not allow to be removed, including consumer rights guaranteed by Brazilian legislation.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the service evolves. The last-updated date at the top indicates the version in force. Significant changes will be flagged on the site.
Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Brazilian law, and the consumer's home jurisdiction is elected for any disputes.
Questions, reports and requests: contact@shario.live.
This document was written to be clear and honest, but it is not legal advice. If the service grows or starts involving money, a lawyer's review is worthwhile.
